We welcome parents and carers to Oakfield Park School and appreciate their participation in open days, coffee mornings and if they want to come and help.
If a parent or carer would like to talk to a specific teacher, the PSA or SENCO it is helpful if a call is made to arrange a mutually agreeable time as it is particularly difficult for teachers to teach and have a proper talk with a parent / carer.
Stephanie Nagy is our school Special Educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO). Please contact her on 01977 613423. (Option 4)
Tracy Bunko is our Parent Support Adviser –she is based at school and works throughout the year (not just term time). She is available if you want to talk about a specific issue or just need someone to listen. Please call on her 01977 613423. (Option 5)
Tracy can:
Offer 1:1 support for families
Help parents and carers to talk to school and other agencies
Provide information and advice.
Act as a link between overnight short breaks services, social services.
Can attend Looked after Children reviews, Child in Need meetings, Multi Agency meetings.
Supports Person Centred reviews / Education and Health Care Planning meetings.
